Ash Highguard is a 3-star Faen Creature rewarded from dungeon 5-9 on Hard. His skillset revolves around Tanking, faring exceptionally well against mixed-strategy decks with lower Physical Damage outputs. Despite his interesting skillset, his overall power is too low and he is generally outshined by a number of Tanks available by the time a player has access to him.
Alternatives that are available for Physical tanking include Swordmaster, provided at 5-8 on Hard, as well as Frost Rager available much earlier. For Magic damage mitigation, Horned Beasts and Colossus are both available through exploration before reaching level 5-9. Still, if a well-rounded tank is needed for your team, Ash Highguard will be able to help your team through most of Map 6.

Ash Highguard is regularly found in the Maze, Lucky Spin, Coin Bags, Gem Bags and Faen Boosters.
